Many friends paid tribute to the memory of Mrs. Ellen Cummings Eastman, of Buckingham, who died on Tuesday and whose funeral was held from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. P.A. McLennan, where the service was conducted by Rev. E. Hurst. Following the service a number of relatives and from accompanied the body to Papineauville, Que., where interment took place.
She leaves to mourn her loss four sons and two daughters, Stephen, South Mountain, Ont.; Sidney, Kars, Ont.; Burton, Winnipeg; Leslie, Ottawa; Mrs. F. MacKenzie, Madrid, N.Y.; and Mrs. P.A. MacLennan, Buckingham. Bessides the many Buckingham friends present were M.N. Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Cook, of Westboro; Mr. and Mrs. James Allan and Miss Jean Allan, of North Nation Mills, Que., and Mrs. F. Keytle , of Braunsburgh, Que.
