Cora Monaco Caldwell, 78 passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. She was born April 29, 1942 to Conley and Ada Horton of Marshall, Arkansas. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1960. Monaco worked as a teacher’s aid for South Haven Public Schools for 29 years before she retired in 2002. She married George Caldwell and enjoyed life with him until his passing in 2006. One of Monaco’s favorite past times was loving to sing.

Surviving are her children, Elizabeth (David) Nondorf of Paw Paw, Michigan and Teresa (Keven) Koch of North Pole, Alaska; Jeff Moore of South Haven, Michigan. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Monaco is survived by her sister Jerlene Parks of Marshall, Arkansas.

Monaco Caldwell is preceded in death by her father Conley Horton, mother Ada Cunningham, husband George (Sonny) Caldwell, daughter Tammy Caldwell and sister Charlene Boy’d, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 10:30 A.M. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Larry Phillips officiating. Monaco will be laid to rest at Monk’s Cemetery.
