Ben grew up in Salt Lake and attended schools there. Ben enlisted in the U S Army during WWII and served in Pacific Theater of operations. Ben worked at Geneva Steel for 35 years and later for the LDS Church in maintenance and yard care in the Pleasant Grove area. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp, hunt and fish with family and friends. He was an avid woodworker and made many unique items. Ben served in many callings in the LDS Church during his life and enjoyed being a Scout Master. He loved nothing more than spend his Saturdays in the Mt Timpanogos Temple.
Ben is survived by five children: Lynn (Cherri) Miller, Pleasant Grove; Susan Miller, Vernal; Clair Miller, St George; Joe (Susan) Miller, Pleasant Grove and Jeff (Debbie) Miller, Pleasant Grove; 18 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons: David and Steven. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private family funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Grove Creek Second Ward Chapel, 475 North 700 East, Pleasant Grove. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 72. Condolences may be sent to family at www.olpinmortuary.com
