Charles “Charlie” Welch, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Graveside service: 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2020, RoseHill Memorial Park.

Charlie was born on August 29, 1925 in Stephenville, Texas to Babe and Leta Welch. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Charlie had a very good sense of humor, and was loved by all the ladies at Bridgewater. He loved gardening and sitting on the porch watching squirrels and birds in Lipan. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Norma Jean Welch, Linda’s mother, last wife: Tommie G. Welch, and brother: Billy D. Welch.

Charlie is survived by his daughter: Linda Gallegos and husband Jerry of Del Norte, Colorado, grandchildren: Anthony Gallegos and wife Susan of Appleton, Wisconsin, Jeremy Gallegos and wife Marsha of Del Norte, Colorado, and Amy Trujillo and husband Adelmo of Del Norte, Colorado, great-grandchildren: Jesse Gallegos and wife Brittany, Amber Hoerr and husband Jason, Hannah Trujillo, Gage Trujillo, Autumn Gallegos, Aspen Gallegos, and Levi Charles Gallegos, and great-great-grandchild: Abagale Ivy Jean Gallegos.
