Entered service as a Private in Company E 25th Alabama, August 1861 at Providence, Alabama, and he continued to serve until transferred. He re-enlisted as a Private in December 1861 at Providence, Ala., in Company F 42 Alabama and continued to serve until March 8, 1865 when he was paroled.

I obtained a certified copy of the death certificate for R H Bradley. The R H Bradley who is shown as dying on April 20, 1921, is an infant. It states he was "born dead". R. H. Bradley, the infant, was the son of J. M. Bradley (Johnny) and Mamie Dawkins. Johnny was the son of Rufus Hosea Bradley.
