Nancy Ellen Holt age 79 of Peebles died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Monarch Meadows in Seaman. She was born June 6, 1940 in Westboro, Ohio the daughter of the later Robert Donald and Catherine Rankin Walker. Nancy had worked in the private homecare business and had worked also at the Hercules Trouser Company. She is survived by five children, Donald Holt of Cincinnati, Paula Holt of Peebles, Daniel (Donna) Holt of Peebles, Doug (Heidi) Holt of Hillsboro, Denver Holt of Cincinnati, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four brothers, John (Janet) Walker of Lynchburg, Aaron “Ike” (Paula) Walker of Darby, Dennis (June) Walker of Hillsboro, Dale (Robin) Walker of Jeffersonville, one sister-in-law, Jeanine Walker of Wilmington and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol Gillespie and two brothers, Robert David Walker and Daryl Walker. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Barnes Cemetery. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
