BRADENTON - Lois E. Russell, 91, passed away peacefully at Tidewater Hospice in Bradenton ,Florida November 19,2020. She was born August 11, 1929.
Daughter of John A. Sr. and Amber L. Vincent in Atkinson, Maine. She is survived by her son James and wife Wendy of Bradenton, Fl. and sister Mildred Hichborn of Citrus Springs. Fl. as well as many cousins nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Roy, a special grandson Micah, sisters Ethel Sibley, Gertrude Lockhart, brothers E. Thomas Vincent, John Vincent Jr., Robert Vincent and Harold Vincent.
She retired from the Bangor School Dept. in 1982 where she worked as a secretary, was a former member of the United Baptist Church, Milo Maine and volunteered for the Sun City Florida Emergency Squad for several years.
Lois was the "news anchor" for both the Russell and Vincent families. Her "Book" literally has every family member's birthday or graduation or marriage date. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as she was loved by so many.
Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Sun City Emergency Squad 720 Ray Watson Dr., Sun City Center, Fl., 33573 or the charity of one's choice.
A graveside service and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo Maine in the Spring.
