Obituary
After several weeks' serious illness, Mrs. Belle Stanley, widow of the late John A. Stanley, died I Dosher Memorial Hospital at Southport, Friday, May 1. Mrs. Stanley is survived by tow sons, Harvey L and James Aubrey, and one sister, Mrs. Jane M Stanley. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, May 3 from the graveside in Chapel Hill cemetery, Rev H Bert Bennett officiating. Mrs. Stanley was 75 years old and besides her two sons and a sister is survived by two grandsons, Davie Lee and Bobby Stanley both being in the US Army.
