Gary Wayne Newton, 37, a Waco deliveryman, died Tuesday at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at China Spring Cemetery, Dr. Randy A. Hughes officiating.

Mr. Newton was born July 10, 1952, in Waco and grew up and attended school in the Bosqueville and Waco area. He married Liz Muesse on Sept. 9, 1985,in Waco. He was a deliveryman for R. E. Cox’s Department Store for several years.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Audry Newton of Waco; a son, Cody Newton of Waco; and eight sisters, Doris June Fitzhugh, Marie Jaynes, Mary Ann Kelly and Peggy Parks, all of Waco, Helen Ruth Mathis of Tucson, Ariz., Lois Dyess of Denison, Nancy Taylor of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeannie Melton of Houston.
