Robert "Bob" Alvin Sawyer, 61, was called home on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Woodman Sawyer; daughters, Christina Van Kirk (Michael), Jennifer Sawyer, and son, David Sawyer (Jessica); 5 grandchildren; brothers, Jim Sawyer (Joyce) and Steve Sawyer (Patricia), all of whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Sawyer.
Bob loved the Lord, his family, friends and the men he coached in youth sports. He was known around Memphis as "Cowboy Bob". He loved writing songs, playing the guitar, singing, and making new friends.
A private graveside service will be held and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
