Faye was born on November 21, 1943. She was a graduate of St. Martin High School and attended William Carey College. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi where she served in many capacities from Youth Director, 2nd Grade teacher, Hospitality Committee, Head of Welcome Center and founder of the Bereavement Committee. Faye loved to travel, shop, serve her church and did not miss any of her grandkids' sport activities.
Faye taught Pre-K or Kindergarten for 45 years at First Baptist Church of Biloxi, St. Alphonsus of Ocean Springs and St. Paul's of Ocean Springs. She was also the Ocean Springs High School Cheer Sponsor for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Sara Ferguson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Woody Taylor; and brother, Tommy Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Coach Jimmy Taylor; daughters, Debbie (Royce) Harvey and Michelle Anglada; son, Chris (Marikaye) Taylor; sister, Charlotte (Rocky) Shrock; grandchildren, Sarah (Vedran) Dedic, Sam Harvey, Ashley Taylor, Maddie Anglada and Courtney Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to serve this family.
