Eddie Davis, age 62, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Emory Hospital surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward R. Davis.

Eddie was a member of New Haven Methodist Church, and he enjoyed coaching softball and basketball to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lisa Davis; daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Chris Garrison of Dalton, Ashley and Clay Winters of Dalton; mother, Ermie Davis of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Suanah and Mike Davis of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sammy and Ann Priest of Chatsworth, Carl and Myrtice Priest of Dalton; grandchildren, Austin Coker, Peyton Garrison, J.C. Winters III; great-grandchild, Gracie Coker, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Social distancing is recommended.
The family will receive friends at Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to help with medical expenses.
