Sally V. Ross, 83, of Rockford passed away Monday, Jan 15, 2007, at 3:04 p.m. in her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Sally Adamitis and lived her entire life in Rockford. She attended schools in Rockford. Sally married Edward Ullrich in 1945, he predeceased her in 1963, she then married Peter Ross in 1968, and he predeceased her in 1995.
She was employed by National Lock as an Inspector for 35 years. Sally was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church and a member of the Lithuanian Club.
Survivors include sons, Larry (Barb) Ullrich of Denver, Colo., Charles (Joan) Ullrich of Muskego, Wis.; grandchildren, Karen, Jeffrey, Chadwick and Cortney; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Emma, Rhyne and Haley; sister, Ella (John) Stackowicz of Rockford; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by grandson, Bradley Ullrich.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, in Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home, with pastor Amy Nyman the pastor of Tabor Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, in Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home and friends may also call from 10:30 a.m. Friday morning until the time of service.
