Mary Joan Hensley, 87, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, Mo. Jo was born on October 15, 1932, in Marling, Mo., the daughter of Paul and Dollie Sapp and sister to Helen Dunavant, who preceded her in death. She was married to Elton Hensley on October 18, 1950, who also preceded her in death. She enjoyed collecting seashells, building dollhouses, playing cards and spending time with her family. Jo worked at Taylor's Jewelry and Jamolees Bakery in Fulton, Mo. Survivors include: son, Rick Hensley; daughter, Vicki Leake, grandson, Eric Leake; granddaughter, Deborah Young (BJ); five great-grandchildren, Lexi, Jakob, Carter, Robbie and Erica; along with other family and friends of whom she loved dearly. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at Callaway Memorial Gardens Fulton, Mo. with Pastor Jim Graham officiating and fellowship immediately following at 54 Country Fulton, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Pilots Association, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St, Fulton, MO 65251.
