Mr. Richard Wayne Holt, 76 of Almo, KY graduated to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his residence.

Richard was born December 24, 1943 in Granite City, IL to the late Raymond and Nellie Holt. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a retired Ordained Bishop of the Church of God.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six siblings, Charles Holt, Betty Holt, Jack Holt, Carol Barrett, Amber Mansker, Dorothy Wagoner; his son, Richard W. Holt II, and his great grandson, Hunter Cain.

Mr. Holt lovingly leaves behind by his wife, Carol (Kinsey) Holt of Almo, KY; three daughters, Suzanne Gatewood of Murray, KY, Rosanne Holt of Mayfield, KY, and Sabrina Weeks of Mayfield, KY; one Son, Chuck Holt of Murray, KY; three brothers; Ray Holt (Laverne) of Murray, KY, David Holt (Cynthia) of Murray, KY, and Doug Holt of Murray, KY; five sisters; Brenda Richardson of Murray, KY, Judith Vaughn of Dexter, KY, Deborah Hale (Phil) of Almo, KY, Rebecca Thompson of Murray, KY and Sherry Holt of Murray, KY; his grandchildren, Brandon James (Ashley), Heather Cain (Adam), Tiffany Gatewood, Santana Cope, Amber Gatewood, Tabitha James, Zachary Holt, Ashley Holt, and Samantha Jones; 17 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service with military honors for Mr. Richard Holt is set for 2 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Eric Kelleher and Carl Kelleher will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Zachary Holt, Brandon James, Jeff Richardson, Ray Holt, David Holt, and Douglas Holt.

The family will receive visitors from 1 PM - 2 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Heritage Chapel.
