Suzanne Garriott
November 19, 2020:

Suzanne Garriott, age 83, of Fulton, Missouri passed away at St. Joseph Bluffs in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Suzanne was born May 10, 1937, in Wainwright, Missouri, the daughter of the late Owen and Mary Belle (Branch) Eastwood. She was united in marriage to Orvey H. Junior Garriott Jr. who preceded her in death October 3, 2003.

Suzanne grew up in Mokane, Missouri and graduated from Mokane High School in 1955. She was employed with the state of Missouri Division of Aging for over twenty-six years, retiring in 1972. She loved being outside, gardening and mowing the lawn. If she had to be indoors you could probably find her watching an old western.

Suzanne is survived by her siblings, James Eastwood (Carolyn) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Patsy Blakley of Fulton, Missouri and Mary Distler (Delbert) of Holts Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Zach Schulz of Fulton, Missouri; Rachel White of Iowa, Adam Vaughan of Fulton, Missouri and Seth Vaughan of Columbia, Missouri; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Suzanne was preceded in death by her children, Kent Garriott and Tonya Vaughan; sisters, Francis Lee Harris Bedsaul and brother-in-law, Gary Blakley.

Private graveyard services will be held at Middle River Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Middle River Cemetery.
