Age 74 of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of Debbie Stephenson. Loving father of Michael Stephenson, Keith Wilcox, Jason Steffes, Beth Thornsberry, and Matthew Steffes. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Cremation to take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later time.

Mike was raised in Ecorse and Lincoln Park. He was in the Coast Guard from June 1963 to June 1969, during the Vietnam War. Mike served on the Cutter WPB Cape York. They served all over the North Atlantic and were based out of places like Bedford, Mass. and Greenland. After returning home Mike worked at Michigan Bell, AT&T and ran a private business.
Mike was a member of the DVHG for a number of years. He mostly worked with us on the firing squad and he will be missed. We commend to all his good works and to God his spirit. Amen
