Bonnie Jean (Mitchell ) Maples Williams passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Albany, New York. She was 53 years old.

Bonnie was born October 5, 1967 in Lakeland, Florida at Lakeland General Hospital, the daughter of Cecil Dick Mitchell and Joneta Ann (Sharpe) Mitchell. She was the youngest of 4 children. She was a long-time resident of her hometown until she relocated to Albany, New York in her later years and began a new life.

Bonnie married once in her life to Hugh Levie "Johnny" Maples on December 27, 1985 and together they had two daughters, Crystal Lee and Stacy Victoria. After Johnny passed away she met Gary Williamson and he was her love and companion for many years and together they had three daughters, Melony Jean, Emily Noel and Alexa Riana. After her long relationship with Gary, she met Dennis Tabler and they had one son, Douglas Allen.

Bonnie was PTA president of Socrum Elementary School in Lakeland, Florida from 1996 to 1998, and an interior decorator of Plantation Wholesale Furnishings, and in her later years after relocating to New York, a bar manager at Ye Olde Tavern in Albany.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Dick Mitchell (1933-1981) and Joneta Ann (Sharpe) Mitchell Toddy (1937-2016). She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh Levie "Johnny" Maples (1929-1986).

Bonnie is survived by her 6 precious children, five daughters, Crystal Lee Maples, Stacy Victoria Maples, Melony Jean (Jason) Michaelis, Emily Noel Williamson and Alexa Riana Williamson; and one son, Douglas Allen Tabler; and many grandchildren. She is survived by four siblings, her sister Deborah Ann (Terry) Lesnett, her sister Brenda Lee (Harold) Spradlin, her brother Cecil Allan (Cathy) Mitchell and a half-sister Kathrine Daisy Mitchell. She is also survived by the love of her life and longtime boyfriend, Terry Cahill.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 11am to 1pm at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue in Albany, New York.
