Eddie Thomas Roberts, Sr. 59, of Smackover, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
He was born January 20, 1961 to Edgar and Genevieve Hodges Roberts in Clinton, OK. Eddie worked as a braider mechanic for Amercable in El Dorado.
Preceding him in death are his parents; former wife, Janice Perkins Roberts; and brother, Alfred Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Torres Roberts of Smackover; daughters, Denise McGlaughlin (Joe) of Barstow, CA, Kimberly Marie Richardson (Neil) of McKinney, TX; son, Eddie Thomas Roberts, Jr. of El Dorado, Mark Ross Roberts of El Dorado, Andrew Lee Roberts of El Dorado; step-children, Sara Livingston of Smackover, Tyler Livingston of Smackover, Joseph Pennington of Smackover; 22 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, November 20, 2020 at Young's.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21 2020 at Young's Chapel with Dr. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
In keeping with the CDC recommendations, masks must be worn and social distancing will be practiced.
