Mark enjoyed his occupation as a recreational therapist working with at-risk youth teaching them how to enjoy life in fun and positive ways.
Mark led a life of services in many areas. He loved serving in the Boise Idaho Temple of The Church. He was devoted to scouting. He spent countless hours teaching youth scouting and leadership skills. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow and received the Silver Beaver Scouting award. He loved camping, hiking and working at the Boy Scouts of America Camp Morrison. He also enjoyed many hobbies including coin collecting, gardening, stamp collecting and hybridizing irises and daylilies.
Mark was also a dependable and loving son. He spent many years taking care of his mother and her husband, Bill Berry, as they suffered from failing health.
Mark was preceded in death by Verl and Ruby McGrew and Bill Berry. He is survived by his wife, Christine McGrew; his children Jessica and Cory McGrew; and his siblings Judy McGrew Wydick and Paul McGrew.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
