Linda R Hudson born 5/2/43 and graduated to Heaven 11/16.20. Survived by husband Michael Hudson, Pueblo, CO, children Sheila (Woodrow) Thompson, Three Rivers, MI, Rod (Julia) Quillen, Calhan, Colorado, and Shana (Chad) Madrill of Pueblo, Colorado, Step Daughters Florence (Dennis) Downs , Pueblo, Colorado, Robin (Brett) Feil Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was also survived by siblings, Gloria (Larry Miller Pueblo Co, Dave (Pam) Duran Pueblo, CO, Dona (Hoss) Tompkins Manzanola, CO, Carol Law Pueblo, CO and Sharon (Bud) Emory of Aptos, CA, and numerous grand children and great grandchildren. She was employed at the Government Printing Office Warehouse at the Pueblo Airport, Pueblo, CO as a Supply Technician. After retirement Linda dedicated herself to her family and her love of yard work. In the Fall if she didn’t have a leaf blower in her hand she felt naked. She was a lifelong learner who took delight in learning new things. She enjoyed doing her puzzles in the Winter time when she could not get out. She enjoyed golfing until arthritis robbed her of that. She was a competitive golfer who won a trophy the first year she played. She also was a wonderful painter who could put out a painting with the best of them. She was a dynamo of doing and was unafraid of any task. She was a multi-talented individual who became a friend of anyone who needed a friend. Her barbeques on the 4th of July became legendary in the family. She and Mike did that for many years until it became too much. She enjoyed it and it was enjoyed by a lot of people over the years. It became a tradition looked forward to by the entire families. She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord. She read the Bible ever day and like a lot of people learned new things every time she read it again. She was a friend of Israel and had the pleasure of visiting the Holy Land in Israel and took pleasure in being baptized in the Jordan River. If people could be thought of as athletes, Linda would have been an Olympic Gold Medal winner as a Mother, Wife, and Grandmother. She will be sorely missed by the entire family. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, private service will be held for the family.
