Joyce Eileen Tolar Bishop, age 81, of Concord, passed away November 18, 2020, at her home.  Joyce was born in Atlanta, daughter of the late Samuel W. Tolar, Jr., and Margaret Swinney Tolar. She was a homemaker who enjoyed putting puzzles together, and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Joseph G. Bishop, and her brothers, Sam Tolar III, Tracy A. Tolar, and Ted C. Tolar.

She is survived by her children: Kathy Coletti (Phil) of Atlanta, Dawn Bell of Concord, Kent Bishop (Kim) of Concord, Brian Bishop (Tammy) of Concord and Sam Bishop (Julie) of Molena; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, November 21, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.  A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Joe and Kim Stanley will be leading the service.
