She was born December 11, 1945 in Graham County to the late David Grady Brackett and Lula Guffey.
She was also preceded by her husband, Bill Robert Stewart; brothers, Franklin Dee Brackett and Marshall Ray Backett; and sisters, Edna Mae Brackett Conley, Iva Brackett Conley, Margaret Lucinda Brackett Gladden, Mary Catherine Brackett Whitaker and several infant siblings (Mattie Jane, Effie Helen, Darrell).
She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are one son, Robert Stewart; daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Carroll; four grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Josie, and Jordan Carroll; sister, Lucille Cook.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at East Flat Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Billy Mitchell.
