Donna J. West, 71, of Pana passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in her home. She was born April 17, 1949 in Pana daughter of the late Gene & Frances Evelyn (Acres) Stephens. She married Orville West on January 18, 1983 in Charlotte, NC and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2001.
Donna enjoyed gardening in her flowerbeds, watching hummingbirds, and crafting.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Brandy) West and Donna Moon both of Pana; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents; brothers: Kenneth Stephens and Harold Stephens; grandson Luke West; half-brothers: Richard Hostetler and Fred Hostetler; and half-sisters: Joyce Thompson, Edna Karnes, and Diane Largent.
A memorial service for Donna will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Inurnment will be in Fraley Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday, November 28th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Memorials in Donna’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
