Philip Madison Johnson was born on 26 Jan 1942 to Philip and Ruth (Booker) Johnson.
He was raised in Northfield and Thomaston, Connecticut. He is a descendant of the Schaghticoke First Nations of Kent, Litchfield, CT and The Narragansett Tribe. He is the grandson of Frank Bishop Johnson and Inez Harriett Whitney. The great grandson of George Miner Johnson and Ellen "Nellie" Harris.

He has no known Children.

He was in a long relationship with Jeannette Duchaine in which they raised her three children in Bristol, Connecticut. After her death he moved to Massachusetts where he met and married his wife Ann. Soon after his marriage they moved back to Bristol, Connecticut. Where he lived with his wife until her death. He remained in Bristol until his death on 18 Nov 2020 at Ingraham Manor Nursing Home in Bristol. He died due to complications of Covid 19 ( during the pandemic of 2020). He was cremated and then buried on 30 Nov 2020.

Philip and his wife Ann attended River Valley Christian Center in Farmington, CT.
Philip leaves behind his Brothers, Sisters and several nieces and nephews. Philip never had any known children.
