Graveside services for Mr. John Coffey, age 63, are scheduled for 11 AM, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Lexington Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Coffey passed away late Monday in Jackson. He was born January 23, 1957 to the late Moye and Mary Francis Morris Coffey. Mr. Coffey started out in construction in his twenties and later founded his body shop and used car lot , Coffey Used Cars, in the 1980’s. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church. He enjoyed hamburgers, ice cream cones, and diet coke. He loved taking his girls to basketball games and dirt track car racing. He also enjoyed his el camino that he restored.

Mr. Coffey is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mrs. Brenda Youngerman Coffey of Reagan; his daughter, Denise Coffey of Greenville, TN; his stepdaughter, Christiane Sullivan of Ardmore, OK; and two brothers, Joe Coffey (Sandy) and Birch Coffey.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Coffey.
