Thomas resided in Lowell MA prior to moving to the Danvers State Hosptial in 1910 and then Grafton State Hospital where he passed at age 70, he was married to Rosa (Rosalind Hovey) Barry. They had 11 children: five boys and six girls, most died at a young age. His parents were Alonzo L (?) nee McLaughlin, according to his death certificate. No record was found of an Alonzo Barry marrying a McLaughlin; however one of the records for Thomas indicate his mother's name was Mary and there is a couple Alonzo Barry and Mary McIntosh having a child born in Boston in 1849.
