He is survived by his son, Stephen Fontenot of Longville, Louisiana, two grandchildren, Stephen Fontenot II and wife, Jaki of Elgin, Oklahoma and Amanda Hutchison Zuniga and husband, Rick of San Antonio, Tx and one great grandson, Shawn
He was preceded in death by his wife, June G. Fontenot; parents, Doc and Lena Fontenot.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 West Fourth Street, DeQuincy, La.
The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Riley Smith Memorial Park, DeQuincy, La.
