Ted died peacefully, with his family around him, on Aug. 14, 2005, from different cancers he had fought since 1986.

He was born in Graham, Ky., to Nannie Clyde and John T. Faith on Oct. 31, 1923.

Ted was a talented country-western musician for 38 years, and he had the smoothest voice ever. We are sure he is singing with the angels now.

Ted met Laura Medley in Springfield, Mo., while appearing on the Ozark Jubilee with Red Foley. They were married in 1960 and recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

Ted was preceded by his parents, five sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Laura; four children, Patricia Medley, Richard Medley of Billings, Linda Hetterley of Mesquite, Texas, and Merl Medley of Ponderay, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Vivian) Faith of Detroit, and a special niece, Marion Ruth Sookey of Kentucky.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Cremation or Funeral Gallery. Viewing is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. Burial is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Big Sky Hospice, PO Box 35033, Billings, MT 59107.
