Harris, Delores 11/25/1931 - 11/14/2020 Muskegon Saturday, November 14, 2020 Delores "Dee" (Castonia) Harris, 88, went to be with the Lord after a courageous fight with Covid. Dee was born November 25, 1931 to Warren and Jessie (Marshall) Castonia. On March 3, 1951 she married Delbert "Del" Harris Jr. They raised four sons; Dennis, Doug, Bryan and Keith. Dee loved to talk to whomever was nearby. This was a great strength of hers as she had many friends. She enjoyed music, playing piano, bingo, old westerns, cookouts and Miss America pageants. She was a successful Avon lady for many years earning multiple awards. Dee enjoyed many gatherings with the Red Hatters and Widows Together. Above all else, she loved and cherished her family. Dee is survived by her four sons; Dennis (Fran) Harris of Muskegon, Douglas (Katie) Harris of Muskegon, Bryan (Kim) Harris of Bear Lake, Keith (Kelley) Harris of Nunica; sister, Donna Schwarzenberg of Muskegon; Sisters-in-law Shirley Priest of Oregon and Lois Wildman of Texas; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Jessie Castonia, husband, Del, and brother-in-law, Paul Schwarzenberg. Dee will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bitely, Michigan, where they resided for many years. Immediate family attended the burial and a celebration of life will be hosted in 2021.
