He was born on October 14, 1930 to the late Richard Henry Hensley Sr. and the late Aida Hensley in Clark County. He was a retired machine technician and a veteran of the Korean war. He was also a member of Ark of Mercy Church of God.
He is survived by three daughters, Deloris Hood, Anna Dearing Hensley and Kathy Hensley ; four sons, Rick (Karen) Hensley , Johnny (Vickie) Hensley , Paul (Connie) Hensley and Danny Hensley; his first wife, Louise Clay Hensley ;a daughter in law, Janet Hensley; twenty three grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren and one sister, Marlene Prichard. In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by, one son, Stanley Clay Hensley and one daughter, Elizabeth Hensley.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Means, Nathan Pasley, Austin Shelton, Daniel Hensley, Matthew Hatton, Peter Hensley and Christopher Hensley.
Services will be Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11AM Ark of Mercy Church of God , 240 Winn Ave., Winchester, KY 40391. Visitation will be from 10AM-11AM. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
