"Harry L. Farrell, a veteran of more than 50 years in the transportation industry, Mr. Farrell was a claims adjuster for Norwalk Truck Lines, until his retirement Oct. 6 1957. He had also served as supervisor and salesman for the trucking firm. On his retirement, the Saginaw Valley Traffic Club presented him with a watch and an honorary life membership. He passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon. Age 78. He was born Feb. 1, 1883 in Saginaw, and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, and a member of its Holy Name Society. He married Alice Aurentz in Saginaw in 1900. She survives him. He also leaves two sons, John B.; and Robert H. Farrell, both of Saginaw; 13 grandchildren; brother, George Farrell; and a sister, Mrs. L. A. Wiggins, both of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at McIntyre Chapel, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Helen's Catholic Church, with Fr. Ralph Richards officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Sunday. Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Chapel."
