Sandra Margaret Ballard, went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2017. She was born in Dumfries, Scotland on June 16, 1948 to Angus and Mary Coombs. She is preceded in death by her parents and several beloved Labradors. Left with cherished memories is loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Mike; son (and wife); step daughter (and husband); granddaughter; grandson; grandson; granddaughter; sister (and husband); brother and Sophie her yellow Labrador. Sandy and Mike met many years ago in Colorado where she loved to ski, camp and entertain with friends. She loved the outdoors, the sun, reading and painting. She loved spending time with family and visiting her grandkids on the weekends. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and she was a phenomenal cook. She was a giver, she always put the people she loved before herself. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the DFW Labrador Retriever Rescue Club in Sandy's honor.
