Brittany was born on December 8, 1989 to Charles “Chuck” Scott and the late Margie Gail Reed. She worked for several years at Food Lion. Brittany was a free spirt, with a contagious laugh, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, George E. Scott; maternal grandmother, Annie Mae Wood. Surviving are her father, Chuck Scott and wife Rene of Thomasville; a son, Bryson Lee Scott of Thomasville; a daughter, Emma Jean Huffman of Winston-Salem; grandmother, Jean Scott Livingston of Thomasville; a brother, Michael Shane Helton of Mocksville; a sister, Jessica D. Noble and husband Joseph of Kinston; several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.
