LAURA'S OBITUARY
Laura Michelle (Felix) Rush died peacefully Monday November 16, 2020 at the age of 54 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.

Open visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12p.m. to 8p.m. at Yanda and Son Funeral Home, 1500 W. Vandament, Yukon, OK 73099. Memorial gifts may be sent to this address.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2p.m at Christ’s Church of Yukon, 620 W. Vandament. Yukon, OK.

Laura is survived by her parents Leon and Donnis Felix ; her husband Robert Rush; her son Dustin Rush; her daughter Lauren Rush and fiance Eric Beeson; her grandchildren Alexa, Trinity and Gavin; her brother Dean Sidwell and wife Melynda Sidwell; her sister in law Robin Troutt and husband Rob Troutt; her nieces Michelle Eades, Kaleigh Sidwell, Megan Sidwell, Heather Sidwell; her nephews Michael Eades and Christopher Clevenger; and her 8 great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by grandparents Ross and Helen Felix; Guy and Alpha Scott; mother-in-law Darla Rush, and one of her best friends Connie Cooper.

Laura was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Leon and Donnis Felix on July 22, 1966. She was a happy child who loved playing with her dolls. She had a beautiful voice and sang in her church group. She devoted her life to Christ with her parents in 1982. Laura graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1984. She married Robert Rush on March 15, 1986 in Oklahoma City. She was employed by Hertz Corporation for 31 years where she spent the last 18 years in human resources. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and Namaw. She loved her family and friends fiercely especially her grandchildren. She loved helping others and was always the

first one to offer to pay or do something. She enjoyed doing activities with her grandkids. Laura is remembered as selfless, positive, caring, loving, and strong to all of those who know her. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all that knew her.
