Born Nov 27th 1940 to Elaine Louise Davidson and Winfred Waldo Merrill. Sharon was the only daughter of six children born to Winfred and Elaine.
Sharon Married Albert Lee Collins October 15th 1965 and they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Sharon Served a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in Sweden for 2 years. When she returned home she Met Albert Collins at a church dance. They were married soon after meeting.
Sharon worked at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation as a secretary and "Girl Friday" running errands, typing sensitive documents, changing file cabinet combinations and other various duties.
In 1968 While still at Hanford, Albert and Sharon adopted their Daughter Lucinda Louise when she was 6 days old, picking her up directly from the Hospital where she was born.
Sharon had to quit her job at Hanford as a condition of the adoption.
Four years later in 1972 Albert and Sharon adopted a Son Darren Lee. He was several months old at the time of the adoption, having spent time in a foster home prior to the adoption.
Sharon remained a stay at home mom since the adoptions of the two children. She often taught piano to neighborhood kids and church kids and adults through out years.

When Darren was 3 he lost his hair from Alopecia and began to withdraw. Often he would go to school with his winter jacket and hood up. Al and Sharon sought the advise of a phycologist and were told to put Darren in a smaller environment. Albert was Vested at Old National Bank at the time in Renton Wa.
After much prayer they decided to purchase a fishing resort in Inchelium WA on the Colville Indian Reservation. Sharon's parents had purchased the resort several years earlier but it proved too much for them in their retirement years. So Al and Sharon Purchased the resort and Moved to Inchelium. At the Indian School, Darren was accepted but Lucinda was the subject of much ridicule.
After 12 years of running a successful business (it was not always easy and there were challenges along the way) The Colville Tribe decided not to renew the lease on the resort. After the loss of the Resort shortly before Darren Graduated from High School, they bought a single wide trailer and put it on Winfred and Elaine's property in Kettle Falls. Darren Graduated and went on to serve a Mission for the Church in Johannesburg South Africa.

Sharon was asked by a church member attorney to be his legal secretary. So she went to work for the Pounder Law Firm in Colville. While there she would greet people coming in for Divorces and other legal matters. One day a woman cam in seeking a Divorce from her Husband who was currently in Prison. Through conversations Sharon discovered that this woman had a Resort for Sale. After much cajoling Sharon and Al went over to Republic WA to view the Resort this woman had for sale.
After much prayer and some borrowing from 2 sources, Al and Sharon were back in the Resort Business. They Purchased Black Beach Resort and moved to Republic, WA. This resort they ran for 22 years before selling it in 2014.

Albert and Sharon moved to Spokane WA to be closer to Alberts heart Dr.'s Sharon developed multiple health issues several years later. She passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center on April 27th, 2020 from Non-ischemic Cardiomyopathy with small intestinal bleeding after a bout of pnumonia.
