Margaret Agusta Holland, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri.

Margaret, the daughter of Donald Dewitt and Estelle (Poole) Greer, was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Poplar Bluff, and was a graduate of Poplar Bluff Senior High School. She was a member of VFW Post 6477 Auxiliary, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was devout in her faith. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, growing flowers, sewing and cooking. Her happy place was spending time with her adoring husband, and her dogs and cats.

Survivors include her husband John D. Holland; four sons, Mark (Karen) Schlosser, Matt Schlosser, Luke Schlosser and John (Shari) Schlosser; a daughter Cynthia (John) Hemmer; six grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dave) Forth, Scott Schlosser, Jon Birmingham, Eric Birmingham, Estelle (Zach) Henson and Lily Tyczka; three great-grandchildren, RubyAnne, Lewis and August Forth; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, four sisters and the father of her children Mickey Schlosser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 pm Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with a limit of 60 guest. A private family graveside service will follow at 2 pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Father Daniel Robles will serve as Celebrant. MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED.
