Beverly Anne Ryan 89, of Wabasha, formerly of Rochester Died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at The Bluffs of Lake City.

Beverly was born January 22, 1931 in Rochester to William and Fern (Myers) Haugen. She graduated from Rochester High School.

She married James P. Ryan in 1948 and the couple raised their family in Rochester. James died September 15, 2017.

Bev received her RN degree from Rochester Community College and began work at Rochester Methodist Hospital in 1979.

Beverly was a member of St. Felix and St Agnes Catholic Churches of Wabasha/Kellogg. She was also a member of The American Legions Women’s Auxiliary in Wabasha.

She loved looking over the Mississippi River, listening to music, gardening, and doing a variety of arts and crafts.

She is survived by two sons, James Ryan Jr. of Wabasha and Daniel (Judy) Ryan of Coon Rapids, MN. Grandchildren, Michael (Ilana) of Wayne, Ill., Kevin (Kimberly) of St. Charles, MN, Callie Ryan of St. Paul, Hannah (Grant) Herschberger of St. Louis Park, MN, and three great grandchildren. Bev is also survived by one sister Bette Hoerth of Hope, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, sons Murray and Mark, daughter Nancy, and brother Leland Haugen.

The family will be having a private funeral service in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.

The family prefers memorials to The Bluffs of Lake City memory care unit.
