Jimmy Allen McCoy, 78, of Heavener, OK passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his home. Jimmy was born July 16, 1942 in Whitesboro, OK to Cleveland Allen & Polly Ann (O’Bryant) McCoy. He worked for the City of Poteau. Jimmy loved deer hunting with his sons. He attended Jesus Name Faith Revival Church in Shady Point. Jimmy could always be heard humming and singing. He fixed everything with baling wire and duct take. If “Daddy” couldn’t fix it nobody could. He loved and cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara McCoy; daughter & son in law, Retha Hull & Jim; sister in law, Linda McCoy; great grandchild, EmmeLeigh Knight; grandson, Dakota McCoy.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Tawnya; children, Tommy McCoy & Julie, Terri Potter & Darrel, Polly Alderson & Kevin, Roger McCoy & Amy, Danielle Crawford, Patric Crawford; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Billy McCoy, Larry McCoy & Judy, Johnny McCoy & Sharon; sisters, Elizabeth Hambelton & Allen, Mary Francis Welch & Kerby, Lou Emma McCoy, Aileen Mize & Pauline McCoy, Sharon Rosen & Steve; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 10 am, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Melba Qualls & J.L. Qualls officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin & Roy Allen Thompson, Randall Gould, Braden McCoy, Tristan Hull, Blake Jackson & Tony Knight.
