Sally J. Salyers Grimes, age 70, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 16, 2020.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Ralph W. Grimes; three children, William “Danny” Johnson & wife Holly of London, KY, James “Carson” Grimes & Laura of Morristown, TN, and Jenae Lee Grimes of Morristown, TN; four siblings, Mary Proffitt & husband Don, Crawford “Pete” Salyers & wife Charlene, Goldie Bowling & husband John, and Casey Salyers, all of London, KY; eight grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Kelsie Johnson, Madison Cox, Landyn Cox, Victoria Grimes, “Little” Carson Grimes, Micah Grimes, Layla Ridley; one great grandchild, Riley Kate Grimes; her loving pet, Brianna; her loving friend, Andrea Grimes, plus a host of other friends and family to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Earl Salyers and Edna Begley Salyers; and by her brother, Earl Salyers, Jr.
Sally worked as a secretary for Colony Cable Splicing for more than 20 years. She attended Pittsburg Holiness Church. Sally loved her family and liked to bake with her grandchildren. She liked to play corn hole, and she loved to laugh.
Funeral services for Sally J. Salyers Grimes will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Steve Mullins and Brad Parrett officiating. Burial will follow at Swiss Colony Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2020 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
