McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Douglas Darnell Ford, age 65, was born January 2, 1955 and died November 15, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corp, self-employed construction worker, and member of Browntown Church of Christ, he was the son of the late William Weeden and Tommie Ford Brown of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Mable Ford and brother, Ernest Lee Wade.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Ford is survived by companion, Laticia Woods of McMinnville, TN; three sisters and brother-in-law, Constance Malone, Cecilia Wade, and Edna and Francisco Sifuentes, all of McMinnville, TN; brother and sister-in-law; Jerry and Debbie Weeden of Murfreesboro, TN; three uncles, Paul Strode of McMinnville, TN, Sam Weeden of Nashville, TN and Buford Weeden of Woodbury, TN; aunt, Jeanette Strode of McMinnville, TN; special nephew, Lucas Mejia of McMinnville, TN; devoted friend, Hardenia Locke; devoted cousins, Eva Martin, Martha Robinson, Peggy Robinson and Carolyn Barnhill; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 in High's Chapel with Eugene Wilkerson, Curtis Strode, and Henry Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
