Scott was born on October 26, 1963, in Charlotte, NC, son of the late Franklin Craig Sullivan, Sr. and Nancy Joyce Sullivan. He was an Electrician at Action Electric, and owned Reids Convenient Store.
His family will remember Scott’s glowing sense of humor and compassionate heart. Scott loved cooking, camping, woodwork, making jokes and enjoying a cocktail.
In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by his two children, Joseph “Michael” Scott Sullivan (Alycia) and Amber Michelle Minton (Garlan), and his grandchildren, Michael Scott Sullivan, Jayden Nickolas McDowell, Kayden James Minton, Bryson Alexander Minton, and many nieces and nephews. Scott is also survived by his brother, Craig Sullivan (Kim), sisters Vicki Long, Julie Marsh (Wesley), and Amy Hoy (John). Scott is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, W.O. and Plunkett Sullivan, and maternal grandparents, Bowman and Claudia Byrd.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to be made to the Hospice of Union County or the Crohns Foundation.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel. Casual attire is preferred. Online condolences may be made at www.heritagecares.com.
