Stella Mauldin Bannister, 91, of 11 Joan Drive, widow of William Earl Bannister, died May 20, 2007.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late John Samuel and Lizzie White Mauldin, she was a retired employee of Stone Manufacturing Company, a member of Northwood Baptist Church and attended Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean Barney and Joan Craig, and a son, Richard S. Bannister, all of Taylors; three grandchildren, Dawn Houser, Stephen Church and Christopher DeYoung; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Bannister was predeceased by one infant son, four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. David Lynch. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of Joan Craig, 58 Joan Drive, Taylors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main St., Greer, S.C., or Winyah Community Hospice, 114B Hospital Drive, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
