William Archer Kimball was the son of William Newell Kimball and Mary Ann Archer. His mother also married Franklin Dunnell or Dwinnel on some records.
William married Lura Dee Loper on 17 Oct 1880 at Severance, Doniphan, Kansas. She died on 25 Dec 1887, a few days after the birth of their 4th child. In addition to the three daughters, there was also a son born 14 Jan 1887 and died 24 Jan 1887 named Franklin Dunnell Kimball, named after William's step-father. After the death of his wife, his daughters were adopted by other families but still stayed somewhat connected.
