Patricia Snuffer Amos, 59, of Beckley, W.Va., died Sept. 28, 2005, in Beckley.

She was born Jan. 20, 1947, in Beckley, a daughter of Robert E. Snuffer and the late Norma Jean Henegar Snuffer. She graduated from Ravenswood High School and Marshall University. She was a loving, devoted nurse for more than 20 years. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. Her kindness and joy will be missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Amos of Beckley; her father, Robert Snuffer of Ravenswood; a daughter, Kerensa D. Gore of Beckley; two sisters, Barbara Duranti of Ravenswood and Susan Griffith of Cairo; three nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Henegar Snuffer.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Richard Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
