WATERBURY - Mrs. Jennie Griffith, 101, died Sunday in Central Vermont Hospital, Berlin. She was Born in Fayston, May 16, 1880, daughter of John and Eliza (Ferris) Maxwell. She married Arthur Bailey, former superintendent of the Vermont State Hospital here. Arthur died in 1938. She married Walter Griffith in 1949. He died in September 1967. She is survived by one son, Max A. Bailey, Waterbury; two granddaughters, Mrs. Constance Garcia, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Sandra Dibbell, Avon Lakes, Ohio, and six greatgrandchildren. Interment will be Wednesday in the Irasville Cemetery in Waitsfield, Vermont, Rev. Paul Willard, pastor of the Waterbury Congregational Church, officiating.
