CAMC-Memorial Division Hospital at Charleston. Born August 24, 1927 at Glade Creek, he was the youngest son of the late Newman F. and Gertrude Herold Rader. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Helen Rader, siblings, Sylvia Lee Cook, Carl Rader, Katherine McDaniel, Helen Rader, Newman Rader, Jr., and Noreen Knipp. He was a member of the Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church at Glade Creek; he loved taking care of horses and working on his farm. Survivors include two daughters, Donna D. Didde of Overland Park, KS and Alice Jean (Steve) Shadron of Myrtle Beach, SC; three granddaughters, Staci Jean Bowick, Heather Kay Muscatello, and Sarah Dae Cope; seven great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Constance Velie of Crandon, WI, his beloved best four legged friend, Margie, and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the Walker Memorial Park in Summersville with Pastor John McKee officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville. There will be no visitation.
