Mrs. Lucy Ohm, 87, of Mountain Home passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007. Visitation will be 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Lee Nirschl officiating. Interment will follow in Quality Ridge Cemetery.
Lucy was born to John Allen and Isabella (Taylor) Kasinger on October 4, 1919 in Mountain Home. She married Mert L. Ohm on March 18, 1939 in Mountain Home, and spent her lifetime as a homemaker in the truest sense of the word – making a loving home for her husband and children. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games, spending time with family and friends, pursuing genealogies, and was a wonderful person to be around.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Mert L. Ohm of the family home; daughters: Patsy (Dale) Wilber of Mountain Home, Betty (Larry) Hall of Bull Shoals, Lynda (Don) Roscoe of Midway, and Carol (Ted) Schubilski of Franksville, Wisconsin; her son D.W. "Bud" (Charlene) Ohm of Ft. Worth, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 14 brothers and sisters; and a great-grandson.
Memorial donations may be made to the Quality Ridge Cemetery Fund.
