Earnest Jones, age 91, of Albion, MI, passed away on September 6, 2018. After serving his country in the Navy during World War II, Earnest was self-employed as a barber for 64 years and as a realtor. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. Earnest is preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Martha Jones; brothers: Arthur and Edward; Sisters: Siltania Howard, Nan Martin, and Sue Wade; and one granddaughter. Earnest is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie L. Jones; children: Audrey, Carol, and Linda; Step-children: JoAnn-Beau Godde, of Marshall, Betty Gibbs of Albion, Barbara Eldridge of Marshall, Gayle (Garry) Weaver of Homer and Gary Emery of Mesick; 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; and one brother, Tony (Charlene) Jones.
