She was born August 4, 1931, to Earl Henry and Margaret Viola [Dewald] Chubb.
Surviving are a son, Carl L. and Cathy Smith of Liverpool; five stepsons, David A. and Mary Swope of York, Christopher L. and Sue Swope of Mt. Joy, Matthew A. and Judy Swope of Hellam and Stephan P. and Patsy Swope of King of Prussia; a stepdaughter, Tammy E. and Timothy Mummert of York; grandchildren Todd M. and Ann Smith of Liverpool, Elizabeth A. and Anthony Pilotti of Linglestown and Nicholas E. Smith of Sharpsburg; Three great-grandchildren, Devin A. Smith of Okinawa, Japan, Collin A. Smith of Elkridge, MD and Carter E. Smith of Liverpool; and a sister and brother in law, Shirley and Terrance Goodling of Liverpool.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Robert Chubb; and a sister Pauline Diehl.
She attended Millerstown High School; worked in the garment industry since 1948, retiring in 1985 from Juniata Garment. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Liverpool and loved cooking and baking, especially during the holiday seasons. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling to Canada(Nova Scotia, Newfoundland) and most of the United States. She had a great love for her children and grandchildren.
A service was held October 26, 2020 at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown PA, with Pastor Gary Krabill of Mifflin officiating.
George P. Garman Funeral Home , Liverpool, handled arrangements.
